I am a graduate student at Kyoto University in Japan, researching physics.
My favorite foods include sushi, sukiyaki, and shrimp chili.
I aspire to create an intangible art where the atmosphere of life shared by people around the world converges in one place. I developed Otomado, a smartphone app that allows users to share ambient sounds of their daily lives.
Otomado is a smartphone app that lets you share the subtle presence of everyday life. Users can broadcast the ambient sounds of their surroundings in real time and, by hearing random streams from other users worldwide, experience the presence of unknown others from distant places.
